Occasionally I find someones site who has such amazing quilts that I get lost in their pictures. Well today I found http://www.flickr.com/people/35289170@N06/ I think her name was Carol. Honestly I dont' care.... because her fabric art is amazing and I"ll call her whatever she likes! Check out her pin cushions and her mini quilts. I can't even begin to figure out how she does the work that goes into making such amazing works of art. Now, they aren't really something that would fit in my home right now, but the right piece, and I might just decorate a room around it! They are that amazing. Check them out, you won't regret it!
Edit: I just spent from basically 12 midnight till 1:24 (yeah I can read the clock even if its a little blurry) reading this women's blog. Her mini quilts are still amazing and her ability to bust out a quilt is great. I started following her blog. She might think I'm crazy. Good thing she lives in Australia, nothing to worry about! Different women but equally impressive!

OMG! I want the "mug rug" that looks like a piece of notebook paper with writing on it! HOW COOL IS THAT!?!? I could totally use it on my teacher desk.
ReplyDeleteOK, AND the urban pillow that is a big flower. I WOULD LOVE to know how to make some of that stuff! Such a cool way to use quilting. BY THE WAY, if we move to Wyoming next year (slight possibility) there is a quilting store...and I might have to take it up and follow your example!
