Brothers quilt....

So I am debating if I should post this picture... then I realize 90% of the people who read this blog have already gotten a step by step a text message of the process... so why not post it right?

And because I still won't take the time to spin this picture in another program I apologize for the head tilt and any neck problems that result. It is currently pinned to the curtains covering the water heater and furnace. The top two squares are folded over so to have room to pin the top and not drag on the floor. The end two strips are also missing (not sure why) but the pattern ends with the dark blue making the larges complete diamond.

This is a very BRIGHT quilt in a very simple pattern. I had seen this design or something similar in lots of magazines and decided it would be the most "WOW"ing of the simple square designs. I wanted this quilt to be quick, yet still be more then random squares.

I think this is a pattern I could see my self repeating for a quick and easy quilt for a friend or gift. I still have about half of the fabric left and have yet to figure out what to do with it. Husband thinks I need to just keep going bigger, but what I want to do with the back is limiting it to this size or something very similar. We'll see.

  1. LOVE it! Extra fabric would make a good baby quilt too!
